Stage 1 – State Entries
Create and submit a 60-second video showing your favourite way to save food at home. All entries will be judged by a panel, and one winner from each state and territory will be chosen based on creativity, practicality, and impact. Entry submissions via form below, before XXX.
Stage 2 – National Final
State winners will be invited to Sydney for the ultimate cook-off showdown on September 29, coinciding with the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste. Travel and accommodation will be provided and one champion will be crowned Australia’s first Leftover Legend!

Film It – Record a 60-second video showing your best food-saving hack, recipe, or habit. Get creative and show us your delicious, thrifty genius in action!
Submit It – Fill out the entry form below and share a link to your video. You can upload it to YouTube (unlisted), Google Drive, or Dropbox.
Get Judged – Our expert panel will review all entries and select one winner from each Australian state and territory.
Final Cook-Off – State winners will be flown to Sydney for the grand finale on September 29, to be judged by Matt Moran and others, and one national winner will be crowned the Ultimate Leftover Legend!
